Demarquin Johnson is currently a joint degree student at Harvard Law School and Harvard Kennedy School, where he focuses his academic studies on the intersection of race, democracy, and law. He serves on the board of various bodies in both schools, including the Harvard Journal of African American Policy and Harvard Negotiation Law Review. Before matriculating at Harvard, Demarquin was a 2015-2016 Democracy Fellow at FairVote. He advocated for structural electoral reforms to ensure a more inclusive and efficient democracy at the local, state, and national level. He is an summa cum laude graduate of Howard University.
