Nia Evans

Nia Evans is a racial justice organizer and a Masters in Education candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. As a Campaign Manager at the National Women’s Law Center, she built a national campaign to end the criminalization of Black girls in school and co-authored two groundbreaking reports with D.C. students on the harmful effects of dress codes on girls’ education. Her work has spurred student and community activism and legislative action at the state and local level. Her work has been featured by USA Today, NPR, the Washington Post, and cited by a top 2020 presidential candidate.
