AIRLINES

Boston Logan International Airport is the primary airport serving the Boston metropolitan area, offering flights from all major airlines. The Harvard Kennedy School campus is approximately 20-25 minutes away by taxi or rideshare. Public transportation is also available via an airport shuttle bus that connects to the subway system, though this option requires multiple transfers and takes approximately one hour. The closest subway station to campus is Harvard Square, located on the Red Line of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA).

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

If arriving via MBTA, take the Red Line to Harvard Square. From the station, walk south on John F. Kennedy Street, which extends from the center of Harvard Square. The Harvard Kennedy School will be on your right, just past Dunkin’ Donuts. Enter the campus via the first street on your right. The walk takes approximately five minutes.

TRAINS

Amtrak trains arrive at and depart from South Station in downtown Boston. From there, you can reach the Harvard Kennedy School campus via public transportation (Red Line to Harvard Square), taxi, or rideshare.

If arriving by taxi, inform the driver that your destination is the Harvard Kennedy School for the most direct route.

If using a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft, enter “79 John F. Kennedy Street Courtyard” as your destination to ensure drop-off at the most convenient campus entrance. This location provides easy access to the main buildings of the Harvard Kennedy School.
